1. Files are usually compressed in ZIP format. This for ease of uploading to Etsy. To access the files, you must unzip them.

2. Usually, we place the following formats in a folder: SVG / DFX / AI / PDF / CDR. Initially, the format of the file is shown by its extension. However sometimes, after downloading a file, the format of the file is not visible. For example, a SVG file might appear as a browser’s web page file. However, the file is in fact still intact and will work properly. Try loading them into your machine one at a time to see which one works. For example, Glowforge machines work great with PDF files, because they also contain vector graphics.

3. You have opened the layout in the program, but instead of the drawn design you see an empty field. The lines are probably so thin that you cannot see them. Just enlarge the working area with the "zoom" tool and then the layout will be visible.




4. If you want to edit objects in a program, be sure to ungroup them first.




5. Note for laser cutting: A red line indicates cutting, while a blue line indicates fine line engraving. A black line with a solid black fill indicates solid engraving.




6. Some files contain several different colored elements on a single layer. To adapt such files for use in Cricut, you will need to refine the layout in programs such as CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, or others which can work with vector graphics.




7. All our finished products are painted with water-based acrylic paint.
